Introducing Chirosports Rozelle Chiropractors

Kate McMaster

Kate McMasterKate has been involved with Chirosports for over 3 years now in various capacities. She found her way into the chiropractic realm when she was training full time as a track athlete and after hurting her back was unable to train or find anyone to help her. She turned to chiropractic as a last resort and her life was transformed forever. She now enjoys keeping fit, but  focusses more on the use of natural health therapies to give back  some of the magic and healing she has gained from chiropractic over the years, and also assist others to achieve their goals and dreams.

She first studied Sports Science focussing her energy into the coaching side, and later became involved in the natural health industry as a massage therapist,  then chiropractor. Having come from an elite sporting background she has a keen interest in integrating chiropractic with exercise science, biomechanics, sports injuries, rehabilitation , massage and  nutrition for a wholist health approach. However during her 7 years of study she has also developed a passion for family wellness, especially pregnancy and paediatrics. She has completed extra study in allergy and emotional techniques (NAET and NET) and acupuncture, integrating these into the structural chiropractic and massage approach, in order to create an overall natural and balanced wellness approach. She also like to work closely with other health professionals to achieve optimal individual results.

Kate looks forward to meeting you and your family, and helping you all achieve balance and success with all your health and lifestyle goals.

Chirosports Asks some important questions of interest to Rozelle residents - Chiropractor Rozelle Chirosports Asks...

How could a child benefit from chiropractic?
Regardless of our age, each of us in Rozelle encounters physical, chemical and emotional stresses that exceed our ability to handle. For newborns, it could be the trauma encountered at birth. For toddlers it could be from learning to walk or ride a bike. Many of the problems we chiropractors see in adults are the result of neglected traumas from childhood.
What's a side effect?
It may sound like a bonus; something extra, but chiropractors know it should more accurately called an "unintended effect," and "unwanted effect" or in some cases an "adverse effect." A pill can't come close to matching your body's ability to create and deliver the essential compounds it needs. That's when it's important to make sure your nervous system is working correctly—the purpose of chiropractic care!
